Based in Sausalito, California, this cruelty free company was founded in 1990 by Jim Miller, a retail executive involved in the cosmetic and personal care business, after his research continued to show that customers were looking for high quality skin care products priced realistically, and easily available.  After many years selling through major department stores and chains, we now sell Independents, Online, and Export our Award Winning Skincare and Fragrances.

The first products we made were introduced after extensive "real world" testing.  The items were originally designed to serve active individuals exposed to the rough outdoor climate of Northern California.  The demanding tests on mountain climbers, mountain bikers, and sailors helped to define the function, ingredients, and quality of our products developed to help counteract the visual effects of aging, the sun, the environment, and other life-style factors.

As our products grew in popularity, women became interested in the California North high-quality, non-cosmetic approach for personal care, trying products like Titanium Self Tanner which was featured on the "Today Show" with Maria Shriver as one of the best!  Together with moisturizers, shampoo, conditioner, hand and nail cream, etc., Women buy and use everything in our brand offerings.
