Description

Almost as good as my favored gel

Probably not desirable to mention other products even if that product is discontinued - so I won't! I searched for a substitute Electric Shave Gel for sometime until good reviews prompted me to try CN Electric Glide Formula. The fragrance is the best part of all - not strong - little citrus-y. Performance is excellence and about as good as my old favorite. The one aggravating thing shared by all of the liquid, solvent like pre-shaves is application. A gel clings so moving from bottle to fingers to face is easy. The liquids tend to get wasted dropping to the floor or worse whatever the user is wearing. A tip I read suggested pouring Electric Glide Formula into a pump sprayer e.g. spritzer. Works great and I could not be happier. Hello California North - sell this with a pump sprayer.

I used to use Lab Series, but it contained too much alcohol

"Dear Jim; I am a big fan of the Electric Glide, and California North products in general. The Electric Glide is easy on the skin, unlike most similar products. I used to use Lab Series, but it contained too much alcohol. Electric Glide was available at Nordstroms, then Sephora had it, now only from your website, unless I have missed it elsewhere. The last I bought (from Sephora) was in a white bottle, and the formula seemed a bit different from the clear bottle, which I preferred. However, this may have been my imagination with the different packaging. The brushed aluminum would add a masculine edge to a really good product. I travel frequently on business and the bottle is small and secure, and stays closed, no matter the conditions. I was afraid you were going to tell me you were discontinuing the product. Hope this is of interest."

"I apply the Electric Glide, shave and then my shaver has a self-clean mode...I have a Braun Synchro that comes with a cleaning unit. I definitely get a better shave with the Glide with less razor burn."

"Jim, I'm flattered that you acknowledged my order. There's no mystery......I'm always fearful that a unique product that I have found to be terrific will somehow be discontinued. Therefore I've ordered what could be a year's supply. We have 2 homes and travel a lot and your pre-shave is simply the best I've run across after decades of electric shaving."
