About Us

The Best of Science & Nature
Ultimate Function Highest Quality Standards

In 1990, Jim Miller, an innovative retail executive realized the need for a better approach to skin care. One that would focus on function, formulation, real world testing and customer feedback. California North would deliver only the highest quality formulations in full sizes made right here in Northern California.

Northern California as the testing ground, he took inspiration from and designed for the rough micro climate. These often harsh conditions set the stage for an ever-changing, dynamic product offering including skin care, sun care and fragrances.

Demanding tests on mountain climbers, mountain bikers, surfers, and sailors helped to define the function, ingredients, and quality of CN products. Developed to help counteract the visual effects of aging, the sun, the environment, and other life-style factors. Products uniquely designed to provide the very best in quality, performance and experience for both men and women.

Today, thirty years on, California North continues to deliver The Best of Science and Nature in formulations, absolute function, and unsurpassed quality.

We Passed the Strictest Test in The World.
